Meeting Place

The meeting place for the Y-Eastside Brews Tour is at:
  • Meeting Place: Bowen Hills Train Station OR Soapbox Brewing
  • Time: 11am sharp departure

Optional:  If you’d prefer to meet us at the first location instead – please let me know.

Venue 1

Soapbox Brewing Co. gets it’s name from the owners Scott and Luke loving to get on their soapbox about craft beer (and also the fact that after a few, you tend to get on your soapbox).  After a major reno to a Fortitude Valley building, these guys have loaded in the shiny new brewery and kicked off the brews (Est. Dec 2018).

Venue 2

Sea Legs Brewing Co. have found their land legs right under the Story Bridge. Another new kid on the block (Est. Dec 2018).

Venue 3

Helsby’s Alehouse is bringing the world of craft beer to old time tradition.  Taking over the front bar of the iconic Pineapple Hotel, it offers 16 craft beers on top, featuring mainly local brews.  We stop here for a beer and counter meal of your choice.  The meals are totally delicious, the beers are cold and Les (aka. Brissy Beer legend) knows a thing or two about craft beer to keep us entertained.

Venue 4

Semi-pro Brewing Co. is four adults, four kids and two dogs producing ‘approachable and seasonable’ beers that are far from semi-pro! They’re bloody awesome. The self proclaimed beer nerds are truly passionate about making and sharing great craft beer.

We leave you here

We say our goodbye as the tour officially ends after Venue #4, however the day is still young to make the most of. You’re welcome to stay on drinking, or we will drop you back to Bown Hills Train Station to find your way home
. Don’t be afraid to have a chat with us about a more convenient drop off location.
